OUR LESSONS

Griffiths Music is about teaching music to individuals. We treat every student as a unique person and nurture them to strive for excellence so they can discover their full potential. We are all about being creative and giving 110%. Lessons are programmed to be fun, engaging and encourage our kids to create as well as learn music. 

We have a team of diverse teachers who can teach from a range of styles such as contemporary pop, classical, jazz, rock and many more. Kids are challenged through AMEB Graded course material as well as nurturing their own interests.
 
No lump sum payments or contracts, our Students stay because they LOVE lessons!

ALL OF OUR STUDENTS:

  1. Are able to play some of their favorite songs within their first few lessons.
  2. Learn how to read and play musical notation as well as the necessary theory.
  3. Receive TOP marks in their school music classes and achieve great results on grade exams.
  4. Are given structured weekly practice that is engaging and progressive for results.
  5. Receive all the scientifically proven benefits such as increase to academic performance, increased IQ and greater well being (stress relief around school work).
  6. Learn how to create and write different styles of music.

 Fast Track Beginner Program

30 Min Class
  $35/week

  • Suitable for beginner students. Covers all preliminary material.

  • How to read musical notation. 

  • How to play chords.

  • Basic Music Theory and Structure for composing.

  • Composition home work (Learn how to create your own songs).

  • Correct technique and positioning.

                  

  • Suitable for all ages

Accelerated  Learning Program

45 Min Class
  $50/week

  • Suitable for students with prior experience or eager learners.

  • How to self-learn songs correctly.

  • Intermediate Musical Notation and Rhythm.

  • Intermediate Music Theory (Chord Functions, Modes).

  • Improvising on your instrument.

  • Intermediate-Advanced composition.

  • Record a full composition in studio.

  • Can join weekend band classes.

                  

  • Suitable for all ages.

Buddy Lessons

+$20 per student
 for 30 minutes

  • Great options for siblings or school friends.                                                 

  • Can enroll alone and be matched with a student of similar age and skill.     

                  

  • Buddy classes of two allows each student to receive the same attention as 1 on 1 classes for better results!
